Gaza: 274 Palestinians, including women and children, were martyred as a result of Israel’s indiscriminate bombing of the Nasirat refugee camp in Gaza.
According to Arab media, Israeli forces heavily bombarded Nasirat Camp under the guise of releasing 4 hostages. The bombing was reportedly carried out after the release of 4 Israeli hostages. 689 Palestinians were also injured by Israel’s brutal bombing.
Due to the barbaric bombardment of the Israeli army, there is less space in the field hospital for the dead and wounded. Human rights organizations working in Gaza described the situation in Nasirat camp as alarming.
Israel has claimed that 4 hostages taken from the Nova Music Festival in the October 7, 2023 attack by Hamas have been freed in the Nasirat operation. According to the Israeli army, among the hostages rescued are 25-year-old Nava Argmani, 21-year-old Almog Mirjan, 27-year-old Andrey Kozlov and 40-year-old Shlomi.
The Israeli military also shared footage of the release of the hostages, which includes footage of the four prisoners being released by helicopter and then meeting their families in a Tel Aviv hospital.
According to the Israeli military spokesman, there are still 116 hostages in Gaza, of whom 41 have died, Hamas took 251 hostages during the attack on Israel on October 7 last year.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced more bloody operations in Gaza after the Nasirat operation, saying that Israel would carry out more such operations to return its hostages. US President Joe Biden welcomed the return of the prisoners and urged to continue the operation to release other prisoners.
