Washington: A Pakistani youth was arrested in America for planning an attack on Jews.
According to the report of the US Department of Justice, 20-year-old Pakistani youth Mohammad Shahzeb was arrested in Canada on charges of planning an attack on Jews. Shahzeb reportedly told an undercover agent that he wanted to target New York because it had a large Jewish population.
According to US officials, the suspect wanted to kill Jews in the name of ISIS on October 7, one year after the Hamas attacks on Israel. Shahzeb used 3 different vehicles to come from Canada to America on September 4. He was arrested within 12 kilometers of the Canadian border. If convicted, Shahzeb could face 20 years in prison.
