The national team for ICCT20 World Cup 2024 is likely to be announced by next Thursday.
Pakistan is the only team participating in the mega event which has not announced its 15-member squad yet, the national team 15-member squad and three reserve players will be announced after the first T20 match against England.
Reports claim that Pakistan will announce the squad by May 24, the deadline given by the ICC.
Mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed is likely to be included in the squad for the T20 World Cup while Agha Salman and Hasan Ali may be kept as reserve players.
Similarly, either Irfan Khan Niazi or Usman Khan will be with the team as a reserve player.
On the other hand, Haris Rauf is recovering from injury, but he has to show fitness to join the World Cup squad.
It should be noted that Pakistan is in Group A of the World Cup along with traditional rivals India, Ireland, Canada and USA.
