New York: Iran has warned that if the US takes military action, it will exercise its right to defend itself.
Addressing the Security Council meeting, Iranian Ambassador Amir Saeed Erwani said that the attacks were a response to Israeli aggression. Drones and missiles targeted Israeli military targets, not civilians. The operation was done entirely in self-defense.
The Iranian representative called the behavior of America, Britain and France hypocritical and said that these are the countries that are justifying the genocide of the Palestinian people. These are the countries that are not holding Israel responsible for the massacre in Gaza.
Amir Saeed Erwani said that if America takes military action against Iran, it will use the right of response.
