KARACHI: Muslim League (N) has decided the initial formula regarding government formation in the federation.
According to the initial formula of Muslim League (N), if the coalition parties are ready to give the post of Prime Minister to Muslim League (N), then the post of President and Speaker will be given to Pakistan People’s Party, while the post of Deputy Speaker will be given to MQM Pakistan or May be given to any one of the independent members joining the coalition government.
The entry into the federal cabinet and the finance can be kept by the Muslim League (N), however, the determination of other ministries will be done after consultation with the coalition parties after the formation of the government in the federation, while the positions of chairman senate and deputy chairman senate. The nomination decision can be decided after the Senate election in consultation with the allies.
Muslim League (N) has consulted for a long time on this initial formula. The final government formation formula may be decided in further meetings with coalition parties. Changes in this initial formula will be done keeping in view the political situation.
Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and others will consult on the formation of a coalition government.
An important source of the Muslim League (N) said that the leaders of the Muslim League (N) have had contacts and meetings with the People’s Party, MQM Pakistan, JUI, but in these meetings preliminary consultations are currently held on the formation of a coalition government. has happened
Regarding this consultation, it has been learned that the (N)-League wants to keep the post of Prime Minister. If the parties involved in the possible coalition government agree, then the PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif can get the post of prime minister. If any other name is given by the potential coalition parties, that too can be consulted. If consensus cannot be reached, the alternative candidate of Muslim League (N) will be Shehbaz Sharif.
If the People’s Party does not withdraw the nomination of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for the post of Prime Minister, then the (N) League leadership may decide to support Bilawal Bhutto for the post of Prime Minister after consultation. Sources say that if (N) League gets the post of Prime Minister, then the distribution of other important ministries including the posts of President, Speaker, Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly will be done through consultation.
The Muslim League (N) is trying to establish a joint committee of all parties regarding the formation of a mixed government, which will make final consultations and proposals in this regard and determine the final formula for government formation. Sources say that the consultation on the formation of the government is going on. Progress in this regard is likely soon.
(N) League sources say that a large number of independent members are in touch with them and it is likely that they may announce their joining the Muslim League (N) soon.
People’s Party sources say that Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will decide to join the coalition government along with (N) League and other parties in the light of the recommendations of the Central Executive Committee of the party. At present, PPP is trying to bring independent members into its camp.
Sources of MQM Pakistan say that the decision to join the coalition government will be taken by the coordination committee and preliminary discussions have been held in this regard. Further progress will be made in the upcoming consultations and meetings.
Sources of JUI say that Maulana Fazlur Rahman will deal with the matter of joining the coalition government in consultation with the party leaders while Muslim League (Q) will also be involved in the government formation.
On the other hand, the sources of PTI say that if the Muslim League (N) or People’s Party includes the independent members in their camp, then legal and constitutional options will be used. PTI will start political contacts soon to form the government in the federation. Currently he is active in recruiting independent members into his camp.
