Karachi: A robber snatched the purse from an elderly woman near Nazimabad Multi Chowk and escaped.
As soon as the elderly woman approached the house, the motorcycle thief snatched the purse of the elderly woman. While the robber was snatching her bag, the woman fell on her head. The victim is the niece of the former jail superintendent and an important official of MQM Pakistan.
In the footage, the elderly woman can be seen crossing the street while the motorcycle Swardaku is also seen doing two rounds of the first street. As soon as the elderly woman approaches the house, the motorcycle Swardaku snatches the elderly woman’s purse.
The robber snatched the bag and managed to escape. The woman was picked up by the people in the street and taken to the hospital in a state of unconsciousness. He has severe injuries on his head and elbow.
The elderly person was identified as Shahina Sohail, who is the niece of former Jail Superintendent Jameel Ahmad Siddiqui and also a key official of MQM Pakistan.
According to SSP Central Zeeshan Siddiqui, the incident took place on Saturday evening, after which the police is in contact with the victim woman and is trying to trace the accused involved in the incident and arrest the accused as soon as possible.
