ISLAMABAD: Chairman of Sawal Hilal Committee has announced the sighting of the moon in the month of Shawwal 1445 Hijri, according to which Pakistan will celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr on April 10.
A meeting of the Central Sighting Committee for the sighting of the moon of Shawwal-ul-Mukarram (Eid-ul-Fitr) in the country was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, in which the officials of the Department of Meteorology, SPARCO, Science and Technology also participated for support.
Apart from this, the meetings of the zonal committees of Royat Hilal were held in Karachi, Quetta, Peshawar, Lahore and the testimonies received were sent to the Central Royat Hilal Committee.
Evidences of moon sighting were received from different cities of Karachi, Kohlu, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. After which the Chairman Rawat Hilal Committee said that evidences of the sighting of the Shawwal moon were received in Karachi, Dir, Mohmand and other areas, after which it was unanimously decided that Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated in Pakistan on Wednesday, April 10. will go
Along with the announcement of the moon, Chairman Rawat Hilal Committee paid tribute to the soldiers and leadership of the Pakistan Army fighting against terrorism, and at the end, he prayed for the safety and prosperity of the beloved country.
