Speaking in an interview, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir is currently on a visit to the United Kingdom. Pakistan has important diplomatic, military and economic relations with the United Kingdom. The two countries have exemplary relations in various fields.
Talking about the Tehreek-e-Insaf and the founder of PTI, he said that the founder of PTI had declared the army chief as the father of the nation, and he used to abuse the one he called father.
Khawaja Asif said that the founder of PTI wanted to make Faiz Hameed the army chief. The founder of PTI wanted the army to become a subsidiary of his support and after being deprived of power, the PTI is now licking its wounds. The incidents of May 9 and November 26 were carried out for nefarious purposes.
He said that they are trying to sabotage the economy through propaganda. They are eating up countless fortunes in America, putting some in their pockets and spending some on other lobbies.
The Defense Minister said that on the one hand, they are writing three, three, four letters, kneeling, making promises, and on the other hand, these actions have been initiated. They are not sincere with anything or have any commitment. They are protesting outside the country, abusive language is being used on social media, and bad language is being used about every institution and every person.
Khawaja Asif said that Imran is sitting in jail, writing letters after letters, making promises. On the other hand, the CM of Pakhtunkhwa says that 99 percent of our demands have been accepted, but the people of Pakistan are aware, they are seeing all this.
He said that our conditions are gradually improving, the economy is stabilizing, the government is continuing its journey successfully. Similarly, the political situation is also in front of everyone and their ugly face is coming out. Power will never be returned from these things, the owner of power is Allah and after that his creation.
The Defense Minister further said that it does not suit them to talk and use such language, it is tantamount to insulting the country and the nation and if they think that this will harm the country at the international level, then it will not happen. Pakistan is currently on the path of development and no force or conspiracy can harm Pakistan.
He said that in the past, Nawaz Sharif’s differences were with the establishment, with Benazir, both were overthrown, the constitution was violated but no one has taken the path that Imran Khan has taken, which is against the country and the nation and its integrity, which is insulting the martyrs.
Khawaja Asif said that the army is currently making unprecedented sacrifices, there is no example of such patriotism in history while these people are currently sitting in other countries and doing the worst propaganda against Pakistan.
He said that I think there can be no greater insult to the homeland than this, this entire politics is revolving around a single caste, they do not understand the status of the country and its institutions, they had put the judiciary in their pockets, the judiciary has become independent through a process, so they are feeling pain.
Khawaja Asif said that in my knowledge and opinion, there is a question mark on their relationship with Pakistan, the relationship may be with Imran Khan, it may be with power, it may be with illicit wealth, it may be with theft, it may be with bribery, but their relationship with the country and the soil of the homeland cannot be anything less. The more we condemn it, the less it can be.
He said that time will pass, things are getting better, in a few months or years everything will be fine and their politics of chaos with the country will be buried forever.
