Nazia Ejaz Khan, daughter of Pakistan’s legendary singer Medium Noor Jahan, told why her mother left the Indian film industry.
Madam Noor Jahan’s daughter Nazia Ejaz Khan during her recent interview discussed various topics including her mother’s career.
Nazia Ejaz Khan told how her mother, Madam Noor Jahan, at the peak of her career, said goodbye to the Indian film industry and made her career in the name of Pakistan.
During the show host and fashion designer Deepak Parwani and Nazia Ejaz Khan said that Madam Noor Jahan had left the Indian film industry for the sake of her country Pakistan and her countrymen.
He said that Madam Noor Jahan had established ‘Shah Noor’ studio along with her husband in Lahore after saying goodbye to the Indian film industry.
He further said that Madam Noor Jahan started a new movement for the Pakistani film industry through her studio.
According to Nazia Ejaz Khan, Madam Noor Jahan said on her decision that she will return to the place where she was born.
It should be noted that Madam Noor Jahan started her career as a child artiste in India before the partition of India, later she sang innumerable super hit songs in Punjabi and Urdu for Pakistani films.
Madam Noor Jahan was honored with the title of ‘Queen of Tarnam’, she also won several civil awards of Pakistan.
It should be noted that Madam Noor Jahan passed away due to a heart attack in the year 2000 in Karachi.
