Islamabad: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has announced to bring a resolution in response to the resolution of the American House of Representatives.
Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq presided over a meeting of the National Assembly in which the foreign policy and the US resolution related to Pakistani elections were discussed.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar said that the Foreign Office gave its effective response to the resolution of the American House of Representatives, we will bring a resolution in response to the resolution of the American House of Representatives, the draft of the resolution is ready, we have taken notice of the American resolution. Will definitely answer.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar offered cooperation to the opposition for the constitutional amendment to give the right to vote to overseas Pakistanis and said that I am present regarding giving the right to vote to overseas Pakistanis.
It should be noted that yesterday the US Congress has overwhelmingly approved the resolution to conduct an impartial investigation into complaints of interference and irregularities in Pakistan’s general elections on February 8.
