RIYADH: Saudi Trade Minister Majid Al-Qasabi met Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif today on the sidelines of the special session of the World Economic Forum.
Talking to the Saudi Minister, the Prime Minister said that the economic relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have entered a new era. In the coming days, many steps will be taken to increase the volume of trade between the two countries.
On this occasion, Saudi Trade Minister said that we are giving priority to Pakistan in terms of investment and trade. A delegation of Saudi business community, traders and investors is visiting Pakistan soon.
He further said that during the next one to one and a half years, targets are being set to take the economic and trade relations of the two countries to new heights.
The Saudi minister said that the role of Pakistanis in the development and prosperity of Saudi Arabia has been very important, there is a need to highlight the feelings of Saudi-Pakistan friendship among the youth and new generation of both countries.
