Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu has boldly said that supporting the American proposal for a cease-fire in Gaza does not mean that we cannot start a war again.
In a conversation with the American newspaper “Wall Street Journal”, an Israeli official on the condition of anonymity said that the Israeli Prime Minister has openly explained his policy to the members of the assembly in trusting the American road map for a cease-fire in Gaza.
According to a senior Israeli official, Prime Minister Netanyahu informed Israeli Knesset members that if the final phase of negotiations with Hamas fails, we have the option to restart the war.
The Israeli official added that Prime Minister Netanyahu has assured lawmakers that he will reimpose war on Gaza if he finds the American proposals futile during negotiations or implementation.
Prime Minister Netanyahu also stressed that he would insist on the release of all Israeli hostages held by Hamas, the destruction of Hamas’ government and military capabilities, and the release of all Israeli hostages held by Hamas.
It should be remembered that US President Joe Biden presented a road map for a cease-fire in Gaza, which consists of three stages, including the withdrawal of Israeli troops, the exchange of Palestinian prisoners and Israeli hostages, and the reconstruction of Gaza.
