Washington: Former US president Jimmy Carter, 100 years old, cast his vote in a special polling station in the state of Georgia for early voting.
According to the US Broadcasting Corporation, the presidential election will be held on November 5, however, to avoid rush on polling day, polling stations have been set up in a few places for elderly and sick voters.
At one such polling station, Jimmy Carter, while waiting for his turn in the voters’ queue, told the media that my vote is for the incumbent Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
