Former cricketer Ramiz Raja was furious after the defeat in the third T20 of the series against the New Zealand C team.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, former chairman PCB Ramiz Raja criticized and said that the defeat by New Zealand’s inexperienced team is embarrassing considering the ICCT20 World Cup.
“Losing and winning are part of the game, but this kind of defeat shakes your foundation, losing at home before the T20 World Cup is unacceptable,” he said. The New Zealand team has not come with their famous players.
Ramiz Raja said, “I believe that the T20 format is a game of luck, but losing to rookie cricketers within 24 hours is a blow.”
Former cricketer Ramiz Raja also criticized the opening batsmen for not capitalizing on the power play, saying that the batters set on the pitch should not have been dismissed after scoring only 20-30 runs which led to the score being around 180. Reached, the batters did not score runs and put frontline bowlers Shaheen and Naseem in trouble.
