KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials have been banned from making unnecessary visits.
According to the details, PCB officials will no longer be able to make unnecessary trips for free. Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has banned it. Others used to move out of the cities or the country.
The board used to spend a lot of money on their travel and stay and also had to bear losses in terms of allowances. This would have been done at the time, when the matter came to the notice of the chairman, he took action. Due to this, the dreams of some officials who dreamed of visiting America under the guise of the World Cup have also been dashed.
On the other hand, sources further said that the process of changes in PCB is not over yet but will start again soon.
Some officials also came forward who do not work much but apparently it was done as if the board was running on their bill. Preparations have started to send such people home. The PSL franchises have also complained to the PCB.
