People’s Party, the coalition government, has expressed concerns over not being taken into confidence in the preparation of the federal budget.
People’s Party leader Khursheed Shah has expressed complete ignorance of the proposed federal budget and said that what kind of proposals, what kind of budget, the government has not told us anything, nor have we been taken into confidence.
Khurshid Shah said that it is not known what the PML-G is doing on privatization policy, taxes, development program, it is not known, what is the contribution of which province is being given in the measures to give relief to the people, what is the plan of the federal ministries. Is it new or old? We were not told.
He said that we were not even told whether the government is making the budget itself or the IMF budget is being imposed, the entire burden of the government has been shared by the People’s Party, the people will ask us about the budget. Done, should we tell the people that we don’t know?
Khurshid Shah further said that politically the People’s Party will have to see what decision to take on the budget.
