Ankara: Turkey has cut off trade ties with Israel.
According to a foreign news agency, the Turkish Ministry of Trade has said that all trade with Israel will be suspended until the proper delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
It should be noted that last month, Turkey banned the export of certain products to Israel until the announcement of a cease-fire in Gaza.
According to the Statistical Institute of Turkey, the trade between the two countries in 2023 was 6.8 billion dollars, of which 76% was Turkey’s exports.
On the other hand, Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said that Turkish President Erdoğan is breaking all agreements on Turkey’s termination of trade relations.
On the social media website, the Israeli foreign minister said that this is the behavior of a dictator who ignores international trade agreements and undermines the interests of the Turkish people and the business community.
