Lahore: Writer and playwright Khalilur Rehman Qamar says that this nation will not get another Khalilur Rehman Qamar.
In an interview to a private channel, Khalilur Rehman Qamar said that Bulleh Shah was also the same, Saadat Hasan Manto was also the same and Khalilur Rehman Qamar was also the same. This nation will not find another like me. After the incident that happened to me, I am heartbroken.
Khalilur Rehman added that he is now thinking whether he should stay in this country or not. Until today, I never hated this soil and earth, nor did I ever think like that. I pray to God to give me courage because I cannot live without this soil.
The playwright further said that the abductors held him hostage for 7 hours, recited the word to him several times and shot him. A bullet fell near his feet but did not hit him. Perhaps the shooter did not aim at them accurately on purpose.
Khalilur Rehman Qamar said that people are suffering due to rising inflation in the country. In such situations, they have only two choices to sell their skin or someone else’s skin. I don’t want any girl to be sold out of necessity. I am happy that people are making money by selling them.
