ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will leave the United Arab Emirates on a 2-day visit on Thursday.
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, along with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, a delegation consisting of important cabinet ministers will also leave. This is the Prime Minister’s first visit to the UAE after his election.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to meet the President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed. The two leaders will discuss bilateral relations with a special focus on trade and investment.
The Prime Minister will also hold meetings with other Emirati personalities and heads of financial institutions.
According to the Foreign Office, the Prime Minister’s visit is an important step towards strengthening cooperation with the United Arab Emirates.
