ISLAMABAD: The Caretaker Government made a major decision regarding the Pakistan Cricket Board, excluding the affairs of the PCB from the subordination of the Ministry of Inter-ministerial Coordination and placing it directly under the Prime Minister’s Office.
The caretaker government has removed the PCB matters from the control of the Ministry of Inter-Ministerial Coordination and transferred them to the Cabinet Division.
The PCB will now work directly under the Prime Minister’s Office and will not be accountable to any ministry. With this move, Secretary IPC will also not be a member of the Board of Governors.
