Shenzhen: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met with the founder of Chinese company Transian Holdings in which he expressed his interest in investing in mobile, electric bikes and other sectors in Pakistan.
Chinese company Transian Holding has expanded investment in its mobile manufacturing unit in Pakistan and expressed keen interest in investing in four sectors: mobile phone manufacturing, electric bikes, modern agriculture and fintech.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the government is ensuring the provision of facilities to foreign investors and businessmen, Transitional Holdings should manufacture goods locally in Pakistan and export them abroad from Pakistan.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said these things while talking to Zhu Zhaojiang, the founder and chairman of the Chinese company Transian Holdings. On this occasion, federal ministers Ishaq Dar, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Ahsan Iqbal, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Abdul Aleem Khan, Jam Kamal, Attaullah Tarr and Minister Princess Fatima Khwaja was also present.
The Prime Minister directed the federal ministers and Pakistan’s ambassador to China to prepare an action plan soon in collaboration with Transitional Holdings. He said that Pakistan has all kinds of resources, our biggest strength is our young manpower.
In the meeting, the Chairman of Transitional Holdings briefed the Prime Minister about the company’s current operations in Pakistan, its exports globally and plans for further investment in Pakistan.
Chairman Transian Holdings told the Prime Minister that the company has already established a unit in Pakistan for the production of mobile phones, which has provided employment to more than 5 thousand Pakistanis.
The company is keenly interested in expanding its investment in mobile phones in Pakistan, which will increase its exports from Pakistan after manufacturing mobile phones.
