A meeting of the Central Sawing of the Crescent Committee will be held today on June 7 to see the moon of Dhul-Hijj in the country.
Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman of the Central Sighting of the Crescent Committee and members will announce the sighting of the Dhul-Hijjah moon today, Friday.
Like across the country, a meeting of the Royat Hilal Committee will also be held in the four provincial capitals. In Peshawar, the meeting of the Zonal Royat Hilal Committee will be held at the Awqaf Hall.
The meeting will start after 6 pm, Peshawar zonal committee meeting will be held under the chairmanship of Dr. Hafiz Abdul Ghafoor, 5 members will also participate in the meeting.
The committee members include Maulana Abdul Basir, Maulana Muhammad Ali Shah, Maulana Atiqullah and Maulana Abid Shakri. The testimonies received will be shared with the central Rawit Hilal Committee.
It should be noted that the Meteorological Department and Astronomers have indicated the possibility of moon sighting today, the final announcement will be made by the Central Sighting Committee.
On the other hand, the moon of Zul Hajj has been sighted in Saudi Arabia. Today, Friday, June 7, is the first date of Zul Hajj, on Saturday, June 15, the 9th of Zul Hajj, the main day of Hajj will be celebrated on the day of Arafa, and Eid al-Adha will be celebrated on Sunday, June 16. .
On the other hand, the moon of Zul Hijj was not seen in Oman. Eid-ul-Adha in Oman will be on Monday, June 17. In Pakistan, if the moon is visible today, Eid-ul-Adha will be on Monday, June 17.
