The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to present the budget before the federal government for the first time in history.
The budget of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for the next financial year will be presented on May 24. The Cabinet will also meet on May 24 to approve the budget, after which it will be presented in the Assembly.
Annual development program, finance bill and recommendations of provincial finance commission will be approved in the cabinet meeting.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Aftab Alam has said that for the first time in history, the provincial government will present the budget before the federal government. The opposition should talk positively instead of criticizing the budget.
