Tehran: Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei has ordered a direct attack on Israel to avenge the martyrdom of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh in an emergency meeting of the Supreme National Security Council.
The American newspaper has claimed in its news that this meeting of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran was called as an emergency immediately after the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh.
It should be noted that on the martyrdom of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on Iranian soil, Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei said in his response that our guest was martyred in our house, it is the duty of Tehran to avenge the martyr.
Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political wing of Hamas, was martyred in a missile attack in Tehran yesterday, along with one of his bodyguards.
According to Iranian TV reports, Ismail Haniyeh had just arrived at his residence after attending the swearing-in ceremony of the newly elected Iranian president in Tehran, when the attack took place.
Hamas confirmed the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh on social media.
