ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar called the first meeting of the Privatization Committee of the Cabinet (today) on Saturday.
Sources said that the 2-point agenda will be considered in today’s meeting of the Privatization Committee of the Cabinet. A summary of the formulation of the privatization policy will be presented in the meeting.
A review of the current status of the privatization program included in the agenda, the meeting will review the progress of the ongoing privatization program.
According to sources, the government has assured the IMF to speed up the privatization programme, currently 25 entities are on the active list for privatization.
