Washington: The US State Department’s female spokesperson for Arabic has resigned in protest over the Gaza policy.
According to a foreign news agency, American spokeswoman Hala Rehrert resigned from her position in protest against the unconditional support of the Israeli aggression on Gaza. She was also the Deputy Director of the “Dubai Regional Media Hub” and joined the Foreign Service as a Political Officer in 2006.
“I have resigned after 18 years of service,” Hala Rehrert said in a message on her LinkedIn page. I am against the US policy regarding the Israeli war in Gaza and am resigning in protest.
He said to adopt diplomacy rather than arms. Be a force for peace and unity.
On the other hand, the United States is being severely criticized at the international level and by human rights organizations for supporting Israel.
It should be noted that several American diplomats have also resigned from their positions against the unconditional support of the Israeli bombing of Gaza.
