According to the official data, in the first month of March 2024 of the current government, 691 thousand 136 metric tons of wheat worth 57 billion 192 million rupees were imported, while during the caretaker period 2758 thousand 226 worth 225 billion 783 million rupees were imported. According to the official data, a total of 34 lakh 49 thousand 436 metric tons of wheat was imported till March of this financial year, the value of which is 282 billion 97 crore 50 lakh rupees.
