The Islamabad High Court has decided to react strongly as an institution to the “interference” in the Supreme Judiciary.
Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kayani, Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb, Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri, Justice Babar Sattar, Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq, Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir and Justice Taman Rifat Imtiaz in the full court session of the Islamabad High Court chaired by Chief Justice Amir Farooq. All judges attended.
In the meeting, suggestions regarding taking various measures to prevent the interference of intelligence agencies were considered.
In the meeting, all the judges presented their suggestions, which will be submitted in draft form before the scheduled time in the Supreme Court.
According to sources, there was no disagreement on the proposal of any judge in the full court session.
It has been learned from the sources that in the full court meeting various proposals were considered by the judges to prevent interference in the judiciary. All the judges agreed that there should be an institutional response to any interference in judicial affairs.
