Rawalpindi: Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman’s spectacles were bought by a person participating in the sit-in for one million and one million rupees.
Funds were appealed for Haq Du Awam movement in Jamaat-e-Islami’s dharna in Liaquat Bagh Rawalpindi against inflation and IPPs.
Apart from appealing for funds, a citizen from Sargodha bought his glasses from Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rahman for one crore and one million.
It should be noted that Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Hafiz Naeemur Rehman has poor near vision, and uses near-sighted glasses to read.
Addressing the sit-in participants today, Hafiz Naeemur Rahman said that he will not end the sit-in until the demands are met and may change the sit-in to a march.
