It should be noted that Tayyab Akram has been elected president of the International Hockey Federation unopposed in Muscat, Oman.
In FIH Congress session, by amending the constitution, for the first time in history, the term of Tayyab Ikram’s presidency has been approved to be extended from four years to eight years. Tayyab Ikram, who was born in Lahore, will hold the office till 2032.
