New Delhi: An important revelation has come out regarding the disappearance of Gurucharan Singh, who became famous for his role as Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular Indian drama ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chashma’.
According to Indian media, Delhi Police said that actor Gurucharan Singh had left his phone in the Palam area before he went missing, which has made it very difficult for the police to trace the location of the actor.
“We are investigating and have obtained CCTV footage in which Gurucharan Singh can be seen moving from one rickshaw to another,” Delhi Police said.
Police added that investigations so far suggest that the actor faked his disappearance, Gurucharan Singh himself planned his disappearance and then moved out of Delhi.
It may be noted that Gurucharan Singh has been missing since April 22 last month, the police registered a case of kidnapping based on the complaint of the actor’s father.
The actor’s father had said in his complaint that his son left for Mumbai from Delhi on April 22 (Monday) but did not reach Mumbai.
On the other hand, police officials say that Gurucharan Singh’s flight from Delhi to Mumbai was at 8:30 PM on Monday night, but he was spotted at a traffic intersection in Palam area of Delhi at around 9:14 PM the same night.
In the footage captured by a security camera installed in the Palam area, the actor was seen crossing the road with a bag.
