Gurucharan Singh told the police during investigation that he was on his religious journey, that’s why his mobile phone was switched off and he was not in touch with anyone.
The actor said that during his religious journey, he stayed in gurdwaras in various Indian cities including Ludhiana and Amritsar.
He said that during this trip, he felt like going back home because he had embarked on a religious journey without informing his family and friends.
