Before the T20 World Cup 2024, the news of making West Indian legend Sir Wayne Richards the mentor of Pakistan team started circulating on social media.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not responded to the news of the former West Indian cricketer being made the team’s mentor during the T20 World Cup.
In the circulating post, it is said that the mega event is scheduled in West Indies and America and the West Indian cricketer is aware of the conditions due to which he can be kept with the Pakistani team.
Earlier, Matthew Hayden has been associated with the team as a mentor during the 2022 World Cup.
It should be noted that Vivian Richards has been serving as a mentor for Quetta Gladiators since the first edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
