The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced Olympic legend Usain Bolt as the ambassador for the Men’s T20 World Cup.
The press release issued by the ICC said that Usain Bolt will play an important role in the promotion of the mega event as an ambassador.
The 8-time Olympic gold medalist will also participate in the World Cup matches in West Indies.
On this occasion, Usain Bolt said, “I am happy to be the ambassador of the upcoming ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, West Indies (Caribbean) where cricket is a part of life, this game has always held a special place, cricket at the world level. Looking forward to contributing to the development.
It should be noted that the mega event will start from 1st to 29th June 2024 in West Indies and USA.
