The New Zealand cricket team will begin their journey to Pakistan today for the T20 series, but before the departure, two important players, Finn Allen and Adam Milne, have been ruled out of the series against Pakistan.
According to the New Zealand Cricket Board, Finn Allen and Adam Milne have suffered injuries during training. Finn Allan Kummer and Adam Milne will be out of the T20 series against Pakistan after suffering ankle injuries.
Wicketkeeper-batter Tom Blundell and all-rounder Zac Fowlkes have been included in the squad to visit Pakistan in his place.
Coach Gary Stand says that it is unfortunate that the cricketers are unfit before departure. Both the cricketers have been good performers in T20 for us since the last World Cup.
It should be noted that 9 top cricketers from New Zealand are already not included in the announced squad for Pakistan due to IPL. The visiting team for the T20 series will reach Islamabad on the morning of April 14 (Sunday). The first T20 match will be played on April 18 at Pindi Stadium. 3 matches will be hosted by Pindi and 2 by Lahore.
