The State Bank will be closed on May 1 on the occasion of Labor Day as a public holiday.
According to the press release issued by the State Bank, Bank Daulat Pakistan will be closed on May 1, 2024 (Wednesday) on the occasion of Labor Day as announced by the Government of Pakistan due to a public holiday.
On the other hand, the government’s foreign exchange reserves have decreased by 74 million dollars.
The State Bank of Pakistan says that due to the repayment of foreign loans, the reserves have come to 7 billion 981.2 million dollars.
The deposits of commercial banks decreased by 1 crore 97 lakh dollars, the deposits of commercial banks have reached the level of 5 billion 29 crore 93 lakh dollars.
During one week, the total reserves of foreign exchange decreased by 93 million dollars, the total reserves came to the level of 13 billion 285 million dollars.
