Mumbai: Mitchell Starc, who bowled Rs 350 lakh, is still wicketless in the IPL.
Mitchell Starc, the most expensive player in the IPL, has yet to do justice to his price, his services were acquired by the Kolkata Knight Riders for a record Rs 24.75 crore, thus a ball in the event costs Rs 7.3 lakh. 350 lakh balls till now but could not get a single wicket.
Starc scored 53 runs in Kolkata’s first match against Sunrisers Hyderabad and then suffered a thrashing of 47 runs against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
No one doubts Starc’s abilities but he seems to be struggling in the IPL at the moment.
