SpaceX has successfully launched 28 additional Starlink satellites into low-Earth orbit, strengthening the company’s rapidly expanding global broadband network.

The Space X Starlink Launch took place at 9:58 a.m. local time from Space Launch Complex 4 East at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California, using the reliable Falcon 9 rocket.

Falcon 9 Booster Completes Its 12th Mission

According to SpaceX, the first-stage booster used in this mission completed its 12th flight, having previously supported major missions including:

  • NROL-126
  • Transporter-12
  • Spherex
  • NROL-57
  • Eight earlier Starlink missions

After stage separation, the booster executed a precision landing on a floating droneship stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

SpaceX also noted that residents in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties might have heard one or more sonic booms or atmospheric sounds during the launch, depending on weather and other conditions.
