Mumbai: Bollywood actor Shreyas Talpade reacted to the rumors of his death.
Actor Shreyas Talpade expressed his disappointment over the fake news of his death and talked about the impact of such news on his family, especially his younger daughter.
Shreyas Talpade said in a statement on social media that I want to assure you all that I am alive, happy and healthy. I am aware of the viral posts about my death. I understand the importance of humor but when a joke is misused it can be harmful.
The Bollywood actor further said that someone may have spoken of my death in jest but it created unnecessary anxiety and hurt the sentiments of all those who care about me, especially my family.
Shreyas Talpade said, “My younger daughter goes to school every day, she is very worried about me and keeps asking questions.” My daughter wants comfort about me. This fake news has increased her fear and she has to face questions from friends and teachers at her school which is not good for her.
The actor said, “I want to tell those who spread such things to stop and look at the impact of such things.” Many people prayed for me from their hearts. Playing with people’s emotions is sad.
