Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was unanimously nominated as acting president of Muslim League (N).
A meeting of the central working committee of Muslim League (N) was held in the party secretariat Model Town in which Shahbaz Sharif was nominated as the acting president. Dar and others participated.
Shahbaz Sharif and Ahsan Iqbal proposed the name of Nawaz Sharif as Acting President, Maryam Nawaz, Rana Sanaullah, Ishaq Dar, Pervaiz Rasheed and other members supported it but Nawaz Sharif nominated Shahbaz as Acting President.
Shahbaz Sharif will remain the acting president of Muslim League (N) till May 28. On this occasion, the date of the General Council meeting was also announced, the decisions of today’s meeting will be ratified in the meeting to be held on May 28 at 11:30 am.
