Road to Makkah Project officially started from Karachi Airport, Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori along with Saudi officials formally inaugurated the Road to Makkah Project at Jinnah Terminal of Karachi Airport.
In the opening ceremony of the Road to Makkah project, Sindh Governor Kamran Tesori and Chairman Saudi Passport and Immigration Lt. Gen. Sulaiman Bin Abdulaziz and the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan took special part.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesuri said that the Saudi government is going to start working on many investment projects in Pakistan. I request that when Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman visits Pakistan, Sindh must come visit
On this occasion, Saudi Ambassador Nawaf bin Saeed said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have brotherly relations, they are praying for the economic development of Pakistan and Saudi Arabia is determined to invest in various sectors of Pakistan.
Speaking at the ceremony, Saudi Chairman Immigration and Passport Lt. Gen. Suleiman bin Abdulaziz said that the Road to Makkah project will be extended to other airports in Pakistan.
According to the concerned officials of the federal government, under the Road to Makkah project, the immigration and all other necessary requirements of pilgrims from all over Sindh, including Karachi, will be fulfilled at the Jinnah International Airport.
The pilgrims cleared from the airport will proceed directly to their accommodation by their transport without going through the lengthy immigration process at Jeddah Airport and Madinah Airport.
