Mumbai: Bollywood actress Richa Chadha has revealed that she did not one or two but 99 retakes for the dance sequence in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series ‘Hiramundi: The Diamond Bazaar’.
Recently, Richa Chadha along with the cast of the web series ‘Hiramundi: The Diamond Bazaar’ was a part of Kapil Sharma’s Netflix show “The Great Indian Couple Show” where the cast of the series shared their experience of working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. shared
While talking to the cast of ‘Hiramundi’ about how many retakes they did during the shoot, Aditi Rao Hydari and Sonakshi Sinha said they didn’t do more than 12 or 13 retakes.
Meanwhile, Richa Chadha made an important revelation which shocked all the ‘Hiramundi’ actresses present on Kapil Sharma’s show.
Richa Chadha said that my best day on the sets of Hiramandi was also my worst day as I did the most retakes among the entire cast.
The actress said, “I did 99 retakes for the dance sequence. I stopped doing a century during the retakes. It was very difficult for me but I finally did it after a lot of hard work.”
“I had a hard time in the beginning, but when I succeeded in my retake, I felt great,” she added.

It should be noted that director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has entered the OTT platform through the web series ‘Hira Mandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ released on Netflix on May 1.
The mega cast of this series includes Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sherman Segal and Fardeen Khan.
‘Hira Mandi’ is set in the era of 1940s and revolves around the relationship between courtiers and prostitutes.
