Rehana Imtiaz Dar challenged the result of Khawaja Asif’s success from National Assembly seat NA-71 Sialkot in Lahore High Court.
Independent candidate Rehana Dar has filed an application in the Lahore High Court, RO, Election Commission, Khawaja Asif and others have been made parties in the application. In the application, Rehana Dar has taken a stand that Khawaja Asif has lost according to Form 45, Khawaja Asif has declared himself the winner in Form 47 with alleged collusion and the rating officer has allegedly declared Khawaja Asif the winner.

Rehana Dar said in the application that we have the results of Form 45, the court is requested to order the release of the results as per Form 45.
He pleaded in the petition that the court should issue orders to stop the Election Commission from issuing the final result, order a recount of the votes and declare the result of 47 null and void.

Also, Rehana Dar has said that I came out to fight the election alone and I was respected by the sons and daughters of the city, I will not allow the election to be stolen and I will go to the last limit.
Rehana Imtiaz Dar’s son Usman Dar has reacted to his mother’s defeat and said that I left politics but did not leave my mother’s side.
He said that we have filed a petition for our right in the High Court, I want to ask why RO took 12 hours to issue the result. Form 47 was issued without signature on February 9 at 5 pm.
It should be noted that from NA-71 Sialkot 2, Pakistan Muslim League-N candidate Khawaja Asif has been declared successful by securing 118,566 votes, while his opponent, independent candidate Rehana Imtiaz Dar, has lost by securing 1,272 votes.
