The court rejected the request to extend the physical remand of the social leader Saram Birni arrested on the charge of human trafficking and sent him to jail.
FIA produced Saram Birni in the court of Judicial Magistrate Sharqi on completion of his two-day physical remand. The investigating officer told the court that the accused did not cooperate at all during the investigation. That I don’t know.

The investigating officer further said that so far the cases of 3 children have been investigated while 20 more cases are to be investigated. Lawyers Safai Amir Waraich and Ijaz Khattak stated that Saram Barni should not be remanded, if physical remand is given, Saram Barni will be tortured.
Later, the court rejected FIA’s request for physical remand and sent Saram Barni to judicial remand prison.
