ISLAMABAD: Pakistan received a total of $6.899 billion in foreign aid from bilateral and multilateral partners in the first nine months of the current financial year.
According to the Ministry of Economic Affairs, in the first 9 months of the current financial year, Pakistan received funds worth 781.48 million dollars in the form of New Pakistan Certificates, while the volume of time deposits has been recorded at 2 billion dollars.
It should be noted that this assistance does not include the assistance of 1.1 billion dollars received by Pakistan from the IMF on completion of the third review under the standby agreement.
