Rawalpindi: Jamaat-e-Islami’s protest sit-in has entered its eleventh day, during which the number of participants is increasing day by day.
Today is the eleventh day of Jamaat-e-Islami’s sit-in at Liaquat Bagh Chowk for heavy electricity bills, unnecessary taxes, contracts with IPPs, petrol prices and other demands. The enthusiasm of the participants from all over the country can be seen in the sit-in.
Breakfast was arranged for the participants of Jamaat-e-Islami’s protest sit-in on Monday, while business organizations are participating in the sit-in supporting the protest of Jamaat-e-Islami. In this regard, the traders have also displayed their supporting banners around the sit-in.
A big meeting will be held at the sit-in site after sunset today, in which business organizations will also participate, while at 11:30 Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeemur Rahman will talk to the media.
