Mumbai: Rani Mukherjee, the most popular Bollywood actress of yesteryear, has revealed that she never celebrated her birthday as a child.
Rani Mukherjee will celebrate her 46th birthday today on March 21. On this occasion, she spoke to the Indian media and said, “I love to celebrate my birthday since my childhood, but always during my birthday, school final exams came up because of that.” My mother did not let me celebrate my birthday.
Rani Mukherjee said, “I used to be sad on my birthday because instead of celebrating my birthday with my friends, I was reading books and preparing for exams.”
The actress said, “My mother used to give me chocolates to take away my sadness so that I could celebrate my birthday with a little happiness by giving those chocolates to all my classmates.”
She also admitted in her interview that she now fulfills all her unfulfilled desires through her daughter Adira.
Rani Mukherjee said that now I celebrate my daughter Adira’s birthday with love, I try to fulfill the expectations I had from my birthday through my daughter’s birthday.
The actress added, “I am more happy to celebrate my birthday simply. I like to celebrate my birthday with my daughter, husband, mother and a few close friends. When we are together, we laugh together. Eat good food.
It should be noted that Rani Mukherjee married Yash Chopra’s son Aditya Chopra in 2014 and a daughter was born to them in 2015.
