Brasília: More than 10,000 people were displaced in the heavy rains in Brazil, while 29 people died and 60 went missing.
According to the World News Agency, the rains in 154 of Brazil turned into floods. Rescue helicopters were called in to evacuate thousands of people trapped in flood waters to safety.
