Lahore: Pakistan Railways has announced a 25% discount on fares on Eid, the discount on fares will be on all classes of passenger trains on all three days of Eid, but the discount will be applicable only on current bookings.
The discount will not be applicable on Eid special trains, the railway administration has decided to stop the (13Up, 14Dn) Awam Express running between Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Sahiwal, Khanewal, Multan, Bahawalpur and Karachi at Chaklala railway station for two minutes. Allowed.
People will get this facility on a temporary basis for 3 months, but the decision will be implemented immediately, movement of railway police personnel at Mianwali station and timely response saved the life of the passenger.
