LAHORE: Senior Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz and nominated Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz has resigned from National Assembly Constituency NA 119.
According to party sources, Maryam Nawaz was elected Member of Punjab Assembly from National Assembly Constituency NA-119 and PP-159 from Lahore. Maryam Nawaz will take over as Chief Minister from the seat of PP 159.
Maryam Nawaz has sent a letter of withdrawal from NA 119 to the Election Commission, now the Election Commission will conduct by-elections on this seat.
Before the meeting of the Punjab Assembly, the meeting of the parliamentary party of Muslim League-N Punjab is going on, which is being chaired by the nominated Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.
